Wright brothers

 The story of wright brothers

Everyone knows when Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon

So he said it was a small step

But humanity has made a great leap.

But does anyone know what was in his pocket at that time?

When I had two small pieces of it.

 What were these pieces?

And what did these pieces have to do with the first flight of the plane?

We will show you the story of the first pilots of the plane

Katie Hawk is a town on the coast of the US state of North Carolina.

In 1900, on the sandy beach of the same town, two young men were enjoying an experience day and night.

He was not a resident of the town, but came from Dayton, Ohio, about 1,100 kilometers away.

But the passion to fly in the air had drawn them to this coastal area.

Because there was a strong wind blowing on the shores of Katie Hawk

And the soft sand here didn't hurt anyone who fell from a height.

The two young brothers, Wilbur Wright and Orwell Wright, were practicing flying here.

They pitched a tent on the shore and lived in it.

He hoped that man would make his maiden flight on this sandy beach.

The Wright brothers have been interested in building ships since childhood.

The reason was that as a child he had seen a toy flying like a plane.

When the rubber band on the toy was billed and released, it began to fly.

Just seeing this toy, the two brothers became obsessed

If this toy can fly, then such a machine can also fly

 In which human beings ride.

When the two brothers grew up, they opened a bicycle shop in Dayton.

The two brothers worked hard to make bicycles and their bicycles were sold hand in hand in the town.

But the desire to build a ship always bothered him

Then, after many years of study and experimentation, he built a glider without an engine.

And Katie Hawk arrived to fulfill her childhood dream.

They tied the empty glider with a rope and tried to fly it in the air like a kite.

The people of the town also used to come to see the experiences of these brothers to spend time.

Staff at the American Life Savers Station on the shores of Katy Hawk also arrived to help the Wright brothers.

There was also a lot of danger in these experiments, sometimes the glider would fall away from the strong wind.

Once the glider broke badly, but the two brothers repaired it and made it fly again.

The two brothers returned to their hometowns after several weeks of experiments.

Then the next year, when he returned in 1901, he had a better design of the glider.

He made this design by learning from the experiences of the previous year.

This time they also moved their camp to a new and better place where the weather was right for their experiments.

But even this time, their experiments were not very successful.

The glider was flying, but they could not control it at will.

Fed up with the glider's repeated failures, the Wright brothers became a little too frustrated and went back ahead of schedule.

But if the people of Katie Hawk thought the two brothers would not return, they were mistaken.

The two brothers returned to Katie Hawk in 1902

And this time with your best design.  This time his glider was so great

That he was flying straight instead of swaying in the air.

Now the Wright brothers could balance the glider in the air and turn it at will.

The two brothers' Katie Hawk tour was a success.

This time they were not disappointed when they returned.

He had decided that next time he would make history by flying an engine plane.

When the Wright brothers visited Katie Hawk for the fourth time in December 1903, they had a Wright flyer.

 The world's first airplane.

A motor was installed in it to fly the plane.

On December 14, the Wright Brothers decided to fly.

But the problem was who would take credit for this first human flight.

Big brother Wilbur Wright or little brother Orwell Wright.

To end the problem, he tossed a coin and his older brother, Wilbur Wright, won the toss.

Neighbors also gathered to witness the experience.

A runway-like track was also built as a runway for flying, as you can see in the picture.

Wilbur Wright also flew off the track, but Wilbur made a mistake.

That he lifted the nose of the ship a little too high when he took off.

So in a few moments the plane lost its balance, its motor stopped, the plane crashed and some of its parts broke.

It took two, three more days to repair the wreck.

 Then came December 17th.

On December 17, the two brothers were ready to fly again.

This time Orwell boarded the ship instead of Wilbur.

Wilbur Wright set the camera himself, focused on the scene of the plane, and told a man in town to press the button as soon as the plane took off.

Wilbur Wright then grabbed the wing of the plane and pushed it forward on the track.

The plane soared into the air with a jerk, the moment the camera button was pressed, and it became the first man-made flight image.

Orwell Wright flew at 10:35 a.m. on December 17, 1903.

It covered 120 feet in 12 seconds and then landed.

After four years of failures and hard work, the Wright brothers were credited with inventing the airplane.

The two brothers flew three more flights that day.

The last flight was made by Wilbur Wright, he flew in the air for 59 seconds and took the plane to a distance of 852 feet.

But after the last flight, when the plane landed and Wilbur Wright got off the plane

After a while, a gust of wind blew the right flyer away and severely damaged its motor and other parts.

The two brothers, with the help of others, pushed the ship back to their camp.

This right flyer never recovered and never flew again.

Returning to their camp, the Wright brothers sent a telegram of their victory to their families.

The only mistake in this telegram was that fifty-seven seconds was printed instead of fifty-seven seconds of the last flight.

When the Wright brothers' father, Milton Wright, received the telegram, he cried out helplessly.

 The boys have flown

The boys had flown, but the world was not ready to believe it, so how did the world believe it?

When the news of man's first mechanical flight spread in the United States, no one believed it.

Only one Virginia Pilot newspaper reported the news, but that too was incorrect.

The headline of the newspaper was December 18, 1903.

The flying machine flew for three miles on Katie Hawk's sand and waves in high winds.

 Obviously this news was wrong.

After the successful December 17 flights, the Wright brothers returned to their home, Dayton.

There was an open field of grass near his house where he began to experiment.

They built a new right flyer and flew on it.

By 1905, he had significantly improved his aircraft and tested it on several flights.

They wanted to sell the ship to the US military.

But whenever he wrote a letter to the US military, the military did not believe him.

In fact, it was the Wright brothers' fault.

Both brothers were very shy and disgusting.

He did not like meeting newspaper reporters.

With the exception of a few small newspaper journalists and the people of his town, few people were aware of his invention.

However, when journalists from some major newspapers heard about him, they decided to hide his invention.

The two brothers returned to Katie Hawk in 1908 and tested a new aircraft they had built.

Journalists hid in the jungle and watched the demonstration through binoculars.

Through these journalists, the news was published in major newspapers in New York and Paris.

Following the news, the US Army also agreed to watch the Wright Brothers' plane take off.

The Wright brothers also began receiving invitations from Paris.

So Wilbur Wright took the road to Paris and assigned Orwell Wright to show the US Army a demo of the plane.

In August 1908, Wilbur Wright flew to the town of Le Mans, near Paris.

All the French newspapers published news and pictures of the flight.

The following month, in September 1908, Orwell Wright set up a military base in the US state of Virginia

Successfully flew in front of US military officers in Fort Myers.

Orwell made a few successful flight demonstrations.

 But then a tragedy struck.

It so happened that on September 17, 1908, Orwell boarded a U.S. Army Lieutenant, Thomas Selfridge.

The plane flew successfully, but a few minutes later a propeller broke and the plane began to fall.

Orwell tried hard to handle the ship but failed.

The plane hit the ground at full speed.  Selfridge died in the crash

Orwell suffered serious injuries to his leg, ribs and back.

After spending six weeks in the hospital, he was able to stand on his own two feet, but his bones were damaged.

He could not recover all his life and kept walking with a cane.

It was the first plane crash in which a man, Thomas Selfridge, was killed.

After leaving Orwell Wright Hospital, he moved to Europe with his brother.

Then the Wright brothers traveled from country to country to show the world their new invention.

He also performed in front of the British Emperor Edward Seven.

King Alfonso VIII of Spain was taught the art of flying, and Crown Prince Frederick Wilhelm of Germany was even flown.

When the Wright brothers returned to Dayton from Europe, a sea of thousands of people came to greet them at the train station.

In 1909, Wilbur Wright surprised New Yorkers by circling the American Statue of Liberty.

The Wright brothers were conducting these aerial demonstrations and during this time they had another success.

The US military awarded him a contract to build the ship and train the pilots.

Now the Wright Brothers formed their own company, the Wright Plane, in November 1909, and began building ships in droves.

 But here they encountered counterfeiters.

It so happened that many counterfeiters started making their own designs by stealing the design of the Wright brothers' ship.

In response, the Wright brothers sued the forgers.

Wilbur Wright has appeared in European and American courts several times in connection with these cases.

Wilbur Wright contracted typhoid during a trip to Boston in 1912.

He died on May 30, 1912, at the age of forty-five, after returning to Dayton.

Wilbur Wright's death left his younger brother, Orwell Wright, completely alone.

He lost interest in ships and bought his own shares in the Wright Company

He sold it for دس 1 million and spent the rest of his life in seclusion in Dayton.

Orwell Wright also died of a heart attack in 1948 at the age of 76.

He was buried with his brother Wilbur and sister Catherine Wright.

At the head of their graves is a memorial to the Wright brothers.

The town of Katy Hawk, where the Wright brothers first flew, is home to several Wright Brothers monuments.

The bridge that connects the town to the rest of North Carolina has also been named the Wright Memorial Bridge.

There is also a National Memorial Visitor Center in Katy Hawk, which houses many of the Wright Brothers' artifacts or models.

Five bicycles made by the Wright brothers are also safe.

The first Wright Brothers ship, the Wright Flyer, is still preserved at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.

The Wright Brothers also received another honor when Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon.

So in his pocket were two pieces of the Wright Brothers ship.

One piece of cloth that was torn from the left wing of the ship and the other piece of wood taken from the left propeller of the ship.
